Far North Dallas includes theparts of Dallas north of 635 and south of PGBT. Preston Road runs right through the center, and runs East to West from Coit to the Dallas North Tollway. Part of far north Dallas is in Collin county, meaning less taxes than Dallas county. There is also a zip code that is in the city of Dallas, but zoned for highly rated Plano ISD. There is tons of shopping, entertainment, and restaurants all up and down Preston Road. There is a variety of properties available, from condos starting in the $50,000's, to luxury single family residences priced up to 9 million dollars and higher, and everything in between.
